Dear Bill
Welcome to 2010 ... with many people talking
about "the end of the world" and much uncertainty in the hearts of many
people, it's great to have a place to draw strength and share resources
with one another. That's why the ADC Alumni is here. Our goal is to
help you stay in touch and share your stories with one another and
encourage one another in what God is doing in your life and ministry.

 Important Note from the President ... by Jenn Riley
Hello Alumni! I hope everyone had a wonderful holiday season. As many of you know, Simpson week is also Alumni Annual meeting time. As you register for Simpson week, be sure to check the box indicating you will be attending the alumni dinner. At this year's annual meeting we will be looking to make a change regarding the term of office for the president.
Currently, the president only serves for one year. The alumni feels
that this is too short a time period to really get projects going. You
may remember that when Rev. Don Rafuse was president, we introduced a
temporary measure to allow him to serve a second term. The executive is
considering asking to have this made a permanent changed but the
details of the recommendation are still a work in progress. I would
appreciate your input on this matter.
As always, the Alumni
executive has been great to work with and we continue to do as much as
we can with the volunteer hours we have. I want to thank everyone
involved in putting together this newsletter and encourage all alumni
to contribute with articles, ideas or updates. Blessings as you serve,
