If you have any ideas or feedback, please share them with us at the email above or our toll free line 1-866-875-8975.

Please read about our Alumni support opportunities below.

Alumni Prayer Partners
It is our goal as Alumni of Acadia Divinity College to strengthen the relationship between ADC alumni and current students at ADC. One way to make this happen is by being proactive in building relationships between students and alumni. In our view, the most significant relationship building involves prayer support. When you pledge to become a prayer partner to an ADC Student, you will receive a photo and information card about a first-year student. Your commitment will involve the following:

NEWS:     ADC Launches Updated D.Min.

ADC has recently released extensive information about its updated Doctor of Ministry program. The program includes generous new Acadia Doctoral Scholarships and new courses and instructors. Canada’s Most Innovative and Affordable D.Min. also includes options like a personal spiritual director, a strategic planning coach, Directed Studies, transfer courses from other universities or seminaries, a Holy Land Study Tour, international study possibilities, and credit for completing the Arrow Leadership Program.

For more information visit http:/adc.acadiau.ca/dmin or contact the incoming Director of Doctoral Studies, Dr. Bruce Fawcett.

Contact the student, via email, letter, personal meetings (if your and the student's location allows this), or phone, at least 4 times during the year.
     - Ask the student about school work.
     - Ask the student for prayer concerns.
     - Encourage student with scripture or words of encouragement.
     - Give information on yourself and your own journey of ministry.
Continue this relationship through the student's studies at ADC. We encourage you to support God's ministry in this way.  If you are interested please contact Trisha Urquhart.

Encourager
We invite all alumni to continue to encourage and come along side individuals who are sensing God's call and are interested in preparing for Christian service. Tell them about Acadia Divinity College, you are ADC's biggest recruiters. ADC can prepare them for leadership roles in the church and mission work around the world and for a lifetime of service to Christ. You may want to consider brining a perspective student to the "Day For Discovery" event either in March or November.

ADC Alumni Award

The Acadia Divinity College Alumni are proud to give out each year the "Alumni Award for Distinguished Service" to a member of the ADC Alumni Association whose gifts for ministry have contributed significantly to the Christian church in Canada or elsewhere and whose contribution has not previously been recognized through an honorary doctorate from Acadia University.  You may submit your suggestion along with supporting information to us at info@adcalumni.com.

Fundraiser
We also need your help in fund raising for ADC! Promoting and supporting financially the ministry of Acadia Divinity College is one of the ADC Alumni objectives. Without the financial support of ADC's many friends, ADC would find it difficult to provide students with the best Christian education that they offer. With the donations that ADC receives, they are able to continue to provide an excellent Bursary/Scholarship program and the academic programs as well as the day to day operations of the College. Our partnership with ADC is really about our role in developing future leaders.

Note:  The work and costs of this website and the ADC Alumni newsletter are being donated by alumni who are eager to help build community among Alumni across the globe, so no funds are taken from ADC or diverted from ADC's causes.
