Just an
update that is a little late in coming… Melissa and I had
our first baby, a girl. Olivia Lucy Spicer was born, Oct.
8th , 2008 at the Royal Victoria Hospital in Barrie at
7:35p.m. She weighed 7lbs 10 oz. and was 20.5 inches long.
Now she is three and half months old and doing great as are
Melissa and I. (posted February, 2009)

Derrick is
currently serving as a Protestant military chaplain at Dwyer
Hill Training Centre in Ottawa, Ontario.
